

The Boston University's Department of Occupational Therapy & Rehabilitation Counseling annual Lead the Way symposium will be on Monday, May 21, 2007. The Symposium is a one-day professional development experience which promotes research and scholarship to the occupational therapy community in the greater Boston area. The Lead the Way Symposium will feature a keynote address on Culture and the Construction of Habits in Daily Life: Challenges for Occupational Therapy by Sara Harkness, PhD, Professor of Family Studies and Director of the Center for the Study of Culture, Health, and Human Development at the University of Connecticut.
At the Lead the Way Symposium, students from our on-line post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy program will come to Boston University and present evidence summaries in areas such as early intervention, sensory integration, hand therapy, adult mental health, and adult physical rehabilitation.
The Symposium is free, but space is limited so please let us know that you will be attending by May 1, 2007.
